“A giant step towards a world where a healthy mind, body and environment is within reach for everyone, everywhere.”

This is our partner Johnson & Johnson’s promise for 2030. It’s ambitious, but our friends at Johnson & Johnson are investing people, resources and their best innovation efforts to do their part for our world.

During UN General Assembly Week, the company reiterated its commitment to global health as it brought together employees, partners and young leaders to present plans to further impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or global goals.

It’s inspiring to see a company so passionate about making the world a better place, particularly for mothers and children around the world. Working alongside partners on the frontlines of care, the company set – and exceeded – its previous commitment to the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) with Every Women Every Child (EWEC), improving the lives of over 400 million women and children over the five-year timeframe.

For the SDGs, Johnson & Johnson is dedicating its expertise, ideas, and ingenuity to catalyze efforts to achieve SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, which is at the heart of the SDGs and the core of the company’s business. The company’s efforts will exemplify the importance of Goal 5: Gender Equality, and will be founded in the principles of Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

To achieve these goals, the company plans to catalyze efforts in five areas where they are uniquely positioned to create sustainable and scalable impact:
